Who We Help

The Buddy Fund helps more than 15,000 boys and girls each year.

Typically the Buddy Fund supplies sports equipment to over 40 St. Louis organizations helping at-risk or handicapped children … organizations including police athletic leagues, after school programs, boys & girls clubs, leagues and teams, community centers and charities for the handicapped.

A location near at-risk kids, staff quality, close teamwork and the role of sports programs are important to us. Race and religious affiliation are never a consideration in our operations.

All major sports are supported throughout the year. We focus on providing new, high quality and safe equipment as is appropriate for the age groups involved; we work with our partner organizations to encourage proper storage, control and maintenance of equipment, thereby extending its useful life and getting the most from
our investments.

Do organized sports play a significant role in your program to support needy children? Is your organization located is a financially challenged neighborhood? Perhaps we can help you...call.
