JARED FREESE JOINS THE BUDDY FUND BOARD

Jared Freese has joined the Board of Operations for the Buddy Fund, announced Tim M. Murch, chairman of the local charity that provides sports equipment to underserved, at-risk youth.

After graduating from SMSU with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management & Finance, Freese worked with a competitive financial firm in the US, providing clients with robust financial strategies tailored to individual needs and goals. Jared lives in Oakville, Mo., with his wife and three girls. He and his family belong to Queen of All Saints Parish and enjoy being outdoors and playing sports. Freese also enjoys playing golf and long-distance triathlons, in which he has competed in seven Half Ironman and two full Ironman competitions. Jared’s experience will be a great asset to the Buddy Fund Board and community outreach.

The Buddy Fund is a charity helping St. Louis area children without regard to race, ethnicity, or religion. It was founded in 1962 by St. Louis Sportscaster Buddy Blattner to supply new sports equipment to other charities and organizations that used sports to help redirect and change the lives of at-risk, underserved youth…including boys and girls clubs, police athletic leagues, homes for kids, community centers and after school programs.
